π‘ THE ROLE:
Weβre looking for a reliable, organised Kitchen Assistant / Housekeeping Assistant to support our nursery team and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
This role is perfect if you:

This role is all about supporting, serving, and keeping things running smoothly.
π― Youβll be responsible for:
π½ Kitchen Support
Serve meals and snacks to children
Prepare and organise meal areas
Support with clearing, cleaning, and resetting after mealtimes
Always follow food hygiene and safety procedures to a high standard
π§Ό Housekeeping & Environment
Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the nursery
Clean and tidy rooms, communal areas, and kitchen spaces
Support laundry, dishwashing, and general upkeep
Help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
πΆ Supporting the Nursery Team
Help staff during busy periods (especially mealtimes)
Support routines and transitions where needed
Work collaboratively with the team to keep the day running smoothly
π‘ Health & Safety
Follow all health & safety and hygiene procedures
Support infection control and cleaning routines
Report any issues or concerns to the management team

π½ 11:30am β Clean, reset, and organise spaces
π§Ό 12:00pm β Serve lunch and support children during mealtimes
πΆ 1:30pm β Support team where needed
π§Ή 3:00pm β General cleaning and housekeeping tasks
β¨ 4:30pm β Final tidy and prep for the next day
